For the fourth straight year SCS came into Evel Knievel Daze and took it by storm. SCS had one goal in mind and this was to bring a bigger and badder show than anyone had ever seen in Butte Montana before. There were a few things that took place in order for this to happen: closing down a city block, 1000 cubic yards of dirt, some CAT equip. dropped off by our friends in Bozeman, and 7 of the best riders in the world. To make the scene even better we had the "local boy" Keith Sayers tearing it up in front of his hometown crowd. As always we had a huge turnout to all of the shows and the riders definitely didn't disappoint. We had Hoyer throwing out huge flatliners, Homan and Fehr flipping out, Sieg doing ridiculous slow wheelies, Sayers & Nielson throwing huge cliff hangers, and Potter cranking the biggest turn down whips I have ever seen. It was an epic scene for sure and the thousands of people watching just added to it. The weekend didn't just stop there. We also got to see the long distance torch being passed down from one generation to the next. Evel said it himself this past weekend that it was time to hand the torch down to the the next generation of dare-devils. Ryan Capes showed the world why as he blasted his CR 250 over a 246ft. ramp to ramp jump in super windy conditions. Congrats to Ryan who continues to push the limits of long distance jumping. I believe that EK06 has once again stepped it up and left the fans thirsty for more. So from everyone at SCS we would like to thank all the people who made this possible: The Evel Knievel Days Committee, all the riders, Parts Unlimited, Montaqua, Ogio, CAT, JT Construction, and a big thanks to Jay Fortune. We have a huge gallery so make sure to check out all the pics.
