The last stop of our January East coast tour was Wisp Resort in Maryland. Let me tell you about a 1st class people! Wisp resort is all about keeping it real!! Mike and Lori and the entire crew at Wisp greeted us with open doors. Their mountain was our mountain!

We built the course just below the main lift where the snow stops and the parking lot begins. Giving the spectators an amazing view. With gusting winds and pestering rain storms, we found 2 windows of opportunity for Heath Frisby and Kourtney Hungerford to throw it down for WISP resort and the hard core fans that don’t care about the weather conditions!

Kourt and Heath were having fun jibbing and pushing one another and I saw Kourt pull his 1st Super can influenced by Heath and then Heath throwing down huge cliffhangers that Kourt influenced. Just prior to that, Heath hits the ramp and a really good gust of side wind blows thru as Heath leaves the ramp sending him to the left side of the landing and trannys it perfect. I was in awe. So wants he do? He comes over to me and says; “whoooaaa that wasn’t so bad. I going to try that again”. He was whipping his Ski Doo ten feet to the left and buttering the tranny he made for himself. Heath is killing it on his AMDS Ski Doo making it look easy!

Both Kourt and Heath put together two great demos. Again I will let the pictures tell the story.

Special thanks go out to everyone involved. Red Bull, Parts Unlimited, Ogio, Wisp Resort, BIG AL, Thorsen and all the fans that make these demos possible.

I look back on this month of January and it flew by. The people we have met, the friends we have made and all the new fans created for freestyle snowmaching!! The SCS family of riders are taking the sport into our own hands with the help of our partners and making it happen one demo/event at a time! This is the beginning of something great; stay tuned!
